Day 1

Embarkation. Dinner included. Important Note: Cruise embarkation takes place in TURNU MĂGURELE. Transportation from Bucharest or any other location to the embarkation point is not included. If needed, please contact your travel agency.We welcome you on board the “MS FIDELIO” in Turnu Măgurele. Boarding begins at the river port at 4:00 p.m., followed by cabin check-in, a welcome cocktail, dinner, and an overnight stay on board.

Day 2

Cruise. Full board included. In the early afternoon, we will arrive in VIDIN, a charming city on the banks of the Danube, famous for housing the only fully preserved medieval fortress in BULGARIA. Enjoy free time to explore the city at your own pace, or join the optional guided tour of Baba Vida Fortress advance reservation required). Overnight on board.

Day 3

Cruise. Full board included. The Iron Gates is a stunning gorge on the Danube river, located on the border between SERBIA and ROMANIA. As the ship sails through, you’ll witness breathtaking mountain scenery along with remarkable landmarks, including the medieval Golubac Fortress, Trajan’s Bridge, the Tabula Traiana (a plaque dedicated to Emperor Trajan), and the 131-foot rock-carved face of King Decebalus. Enjoy cruising through the most impressive gorge in Europe. Overnight on board.

Day 4

Cruise. Full board included. Early in the morning, arrival in BELGRADE, the capital of SERBIA and one of the oldest cities in Europe. The city is home to countless monuments from different eras and cultures, including Kalemegdan Fortress, St. Sava Temple, the Čukur Fountain, the Courthouse, the Parliament, and St. Mark’s Church. An optional guided tour will provide fascinating insights into Belgrade´s turbulent history. The afternoon is free. Skadarlija District is highly recommended to taste the best dishes of Serbian cuisine. On a hot day, Ada Ciganlija Island offers artificial river beaches, local beers, and outdoor activities. Day 5

Cruise. Full board included. Early in the morning, arrival in the serbian city of NOVI SAD, known as “the Athens of Serbia.” The heart of Novi Sad is the beautiful Liberty Square, where, in addition to several impressive palaces, stand two of the city’s most important buildings: the City Hall and the Catholic Cathedral, noted for its tall spire. From Liberty Square, five pedestrian streets branch out, offering a pleasant and peaceful walk through the city. The morning is free to explore at your own pace, or take the optional guided city tour (advance reservation required).In the afternoon, the ship will dock in the croatian town of VUKOVAR, a city devastated during the Croatian War of Independence. Among Vukovar’s most notable buildings, all damaged during the Yugoslav Wars, are the Eltz Manor, several baroque houses in the city center, the Franciscan Monastery, the Catholic Parish Church of St. James, the Orthodox Church of St. Nicholas, and the birthplace of Nobel Prize winner Lavoslav Ružička. Day 6

Cruise. Full board included. In the morning, arrival in MOHÁCS, a small town in HUNGARY that played a significant role in European history. In 1526, Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent defeated the troops of King Louis II of Hungary, beginning Ottoman rule that lasted for more than a century and a half until Habsburg forces reclaimed these lands in 1687. Today, it is a peaceful town known for its unique Busó Carnival. The morning is free to explore at your own pace, or join the optional excursion to nearby Pécs, a city with the richest Roman-era archaeological site in Central Europe, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site (advance reservation required). Border control at the Serbia frontier (passport required). Overnight on board.

Day 7

Cruise. Full board included. Early in the morning, arrival in BUDAPEST, the capital of HUNGARY, divided by the mighty Danube into two parts: the traditional “Buda” and the cosmopolitan “Pest.” An optional guided tour will take you along the city’s wide boulevards to see the famous Parliament, the Opera House, Heroes’ Square, the Market Hall, the Chain Bridge, and Fisherman’s Bastion with its spectacular views over the city. Budapest by night is not to be missed, as the city is beautifully illuminated. Overnight stop in the city. Overnight on board.

Day 8

Cruise. Full board included. The stay in Budapest continues. The contrasts between Buda and Pest create an interesting difference between the western and eastern banks of the Danube. Hilly Buda lies to the west, characterized by narrow cobblestone streets where medieval and neoclassical buildings—entirely reconstructed after World War II—stand side by side. Flat Pest lies to the east, featuring wide boulevards lined with Art Deco buildings. The city displays a fascinating mix of styles and influences—Turkish, Venetian, Imperial, and Art Nouveau—forming an eclectic mosaic of diverse architecture. Leisure time to explore at your own pace. Day 9

Cruise. Full board included. Early in the afternoon, arrival in BRATISLAVA, the capital of SLOVAKIA. An optional guided tour offers an introduction to this imperial city, visiting highlights such as the National Theater, St. Martin’s Cathedral, Michael’s Gate, the Old Town Hall, and the impressive fortress perched atop a rocky hill. In the late afternoon, the ship departs Bratislava and sets course for VIENNA. In the evening, the Captain’s Dinner is served. Overnight on board.

Day 10

Cruise. Full board included. After breakfast, an optional panoramic tour will cover the main sights of the capital of AUSTRIA: the Opera House, the City Hall, the Parliament, the Burgtheater, and the splendid Imperial Palace of Hofburg. In the afternoon, enjoy leisure time to explore the city at your own pace or join the optional visit to Schönbrunn Palace. Overnight stop in the city. Overnight on board.

Day 11

Disembarkation. Breakfast.After breakfast, we will proceed with disembarkation. At 9:00 a.m., you must vacate your cabins, but you may leave your luggage on board and stay in common areas or go out to enjoy the city until your scheduled transfer.End of services.
