Day 01: Welcome to Lima, City of Kings and Larco Museum of Cultures
Arrival in Lima, welcome and assistance in your transfer to the hotel. An exclusive and intense tour of the Historic Center of Lima will take us to see and admire the architectural relics that are part of this ancient Lima, which has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site. The Convent of Santo Domingo is the beginning of this magnificent experience. Built during the founding of Lima, the Universidad Mayor de San Marcos, the oldest in America, was founded in this building. Inside, the choir with the oldest stalls in the country and the library, with 25,000 books, some printed in the 15th century, have invaluable historical value. The remains of San Martín de Porres, San Juan Masías and Santa Rosa de Lima lie inside. Crossing the Plaza Mayor, the Government and Municipal Palace, we will enter the Cathedral, a jewel of Lima's history, with works of art that will bring us closer to colonial Lima. We will leave the Center and head to the Larco Museum, where we will have a clear view of the Cultures that populated Ancient Peru. We will be surprised by the pieces of Gold, textiles and erotic ceramics that are part of the collection that will introduce us to the worldview of the ancient Peruvian. The warehouse of this Museum will be open during our visit to appreciate the expressions of art that were captured in their ceramics.
Day 02: Cusco, Capital of the Empire
Transfer to the airport. Departure to Cusco. Arrival, assistance and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, exclusive tour of the city that begins with a visit to the Plaza de San Cristóbal to enjoy a panoramic view of the city. Then, we will visit the San Pedro Market, where we will soak up the local flavor and get to know the products of the area more closely in this market that has everything and supplies the entire city. Then, the Temple of Qorikancha welcomes us with all its magnificence and splendor, walls that were once covered in gold. From San Blas, the artisans' neighborhood, we will walk down Hatun Rumiyoc Street, finding the Inca Roca palace, today the Archbishop's Palace, on our way. We will have time to admire the world-famous Twelve Angled Stone. We will continue to the Plaza de Armas to visit the Cathedral, which houses colonial works of incredible value.
Day 03: Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Park
In the morning, we will get away from the crowds to visit Sacsayhuamán, an impressive citadel full of colossal constructions surrounded by beautiful landscapes in total communion with the environment. Then, we will continue towards the Inca shrine of Q'enqo, the surprising altar for sacrifices embedded in the inner part of its rock formation will be. Finally we arrive at the Puca Pucará watchtower and Tambomachay, a monument of notable architectural excellence that is considered one of the pillars of the Andean worldview. Day 04: Inca Town of Chinchero, Terraces of Moray and Inca Town of Ollantaytambo
This day we will visit the most outstanding sites of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will leave for the town of Chinchero, the most typical and picturesque of the Sacred Valley. This town is famous for its weaving women. Brief stop at a textile center to appreciate the ancient Inca techniques for dyeing and spinning Alpaca wool. We will visit the Inca plaza with its beautiful colonial church. We will continue to Moray, a beautiful Inca archaeological site composed of concentric agricultural terraces that served as a laboratory to recreate microclimates. Lunch. We will continue to visit the last living village of the Incas, Ollantaytambo. We will visit the Temple of the Ten Windows, the ñusta baths, and the Temple of the Sun. The postcards from the heights of Ollantaytambo will close this magical day in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Accommodation in the area.
Day 05: Machu Picchu, Lost Citadel
The expected day to visit one of the 7 Wonders of the World. Boarding at the Ollantaytambo station. Departure by selected train. Arrival at the Machu Picchu station. Assistance from our staff to board the bus that will ascend a winding road, with a spectacular view of the Urubamba River and forms a deep canyon. The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, will welcome us with its incredible terraces, staircases, ceremonial enclosures and urban areas. Energy emanates from the entire place. Lunch. Day 06: Paracas National Reserve
Transfer to the airport. Departure to Lima. Arrival, assistance and transfer to the bus station. Departure by executive bus towards Paracas Bay. Arrival, assistance and transfer to the hotel.
Day 07: Paracas, sun and relaxation
Free day to enjoy the sun of this beautiful natural reserve. Paracas is a refuge for unprecedented marine life. The Ballestas Islands and cliffs of the peninsula are home to nesting birds, sea lions and Humboldt penguins. Take advantage of the morning to sail to these islands.
Day 08: Paracas at your leisure
Free day. 215 km south of Paracas, you will find the enigmatic Nazca lines. An opportunity not to be missed to observe them from the air. We suggest taking a flight over from the nearby Pisco airport, 20 minutes from your hotel.
Day 09: Farewell
Departure by bus to the city of Lima. Arrival and transfer to the airport.
