Reception at the Vásquez Cobo airport in the city of Leticia.
Transfer to the Waira hotel in Leticia.
Delivery of rooms, according to hotel occupancy.
Free time to change clothes.
Departure walking to the port of Leticia, on the Amazon River.
First encounter with the majestic Amazon River and visit to the imaginary point of the three borders (Colombia-Brazil-Peru).
Welcome lunch on a floating raft on the river bank. (Depending on the arrival time of the flight to Leticia, if it arrives after 2 p.m., lunch will be offered on the last day at the Waira hotel).
Return to Leticia and free time to visit the craft stores, the ethnographic museum of the Bank of the Republic, and end the afternoon in Santander Park to witness the concert of thousands of parrots returning to their nests. (There is no service on Sundays and holidays).
Free time to enjoy the hotel pool and dinner at the Waira hotel.
Second day
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure walking towards the pier.
Transfer by boat to the Peruvian Marasha reserve.
Ecological walk to enter the reserve.
Accommodation in malocas.
Lunch.
Canoe ride.
Observation of fauna and flora.
Artisanal fishing.
Kayak.
Dinner.
Scents and sounds of the nocturnal jungle (canoe outing on the lake, with possible sighting of the black caiman).
Accommodation in the reserve.
Third day
Breakfast at the hotel.
Walk out of the reserve towards the river.
Encounter with the great Amazon River.
Transfer by speedboat along the river to Puerto Nariño.
Visit to the Island of the Monkeys, tour of the island's trails and interaction with the primates present.
Visit to the Macedonian community: dance, crafts and ancestral Tikuna culture.
Arrival to the municipality of Puerto Nariño, known as the ecological manger of Colombia.
Lunch and walking tour of the municipality of Puerto Nariño.
Boat tour of the Tarapoto lakes.
Navigation along the Amazon River in the most common areas for responsible observation of pink dolphins. (Dolphin viewing is not guaranteed as they are in their natural habitat).
Dinner.
Accommodation at the Waira Selva hotel in Puerto Nariño
Fourth day
Breakfast.
Departure by community boat to the community of Mocagua.
Tour of the community.
Micahing Trail.
Visit to the Maicuchiga Foundation: "History of the Monkeys".
Transfer by boat to the community of Arara.
Transfer to the Arara River Biohotel.
Lunch at the Bihotel.
Buffet dinner.
Accommodation.
Inside the facilities:
On the first floor you will find the hydration station (water, aromatics and coffee), the dining room and the reception. On the second floor of the maloca, you can enjoy board games, hammock areas and the socialization area. Additionally, within our facilities you will have the opportunity to visit the new "Mirador" tree house, which is approximately 30 meters high, and the house on land.
Fifth day
Breakfast.
Transfer to Leticia by shared boat
Depending on the time of the flight, ground transfer to the airport.
NOTE: This itinerary may present modifications according to weather conditions, always preserving and respecting the scheduled activities, river transfers along the Amazon River will be carried out in shared boats.
