Day 1: Berlin
Welcome to your tour with Europamundo! We’ll transfer you to the hotel and you’ll have some free time. In the afternoon, you’ll find information about the start of your tour on the boards located at the hotel reception.
Day 2: Berlin
Immerse yourself in the local culture with a guided panoramic tour of BERLIN, the captivating capital of GERMANY. We’ll see the historic center, Museum Island, the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate, the shopping streets and the city’s beautiful parks. Our visit will also include stops at the Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Memorial Museum. For an optional excursion, you can visit Potsdam and its stunning palaces.
Day 3: Berlin - Dresden - Bamberg - Nuremberg
We’ll travel to DRESDEN, a city on the River Elbe, where you’ll be able to admire its stunning palace. Then, we’ll head to Bavaria, arriving in BAMBERG, a lively and picturesque city—don’t miss Little Venice! Next, we’ll continue to NUREMBERG, the second-largest city in Bavaria, renowned for its rich history. We suggest visiting the site where Hitler’s Coliseum once stood.
Day 4: Nuremberg - Kloster Weltenburg - Dachau - Munich
Today’s journey will be full of surprises. From Kelheim, we’ll board a boat for a short cruise along the Danube valley, passing through the Danube Gorge. Our first stop will be Kloster Weltenburg, a beautiful Benedictine monastery founded in 1040. Next, we’ll visit DACHAU, where we’ll tour the Nazi concentration camp museum. After having lunch, we’ll continue to MUNICH, where we’ll visit the impressive BMW Welt, a modern multifunctional exhibition facility of the prestigious German vehicle brand BMW Group. We’ll also see the park that houses the Olympiastadion, an architectural marvel where the 1972 Olympic Games were held. After this, you’ll have free time in the historic center. You can stroll through Marienplatz, the heart of Munich, visit the picturesque Viktualienmarkt open-air market, relax in the Englischer Garten, or enjoy the traditional beer houses.Note: In winter or when Danube’s water level is too low, the cruise will not operate. In this case, this section of the circuit will be adapted so we can stop to visit Landshut. Kloster Wetelbug will also be closed in winter, but you will still be able to see it from the outside.
Day 5: Munich - Cesky Krumlov - Telc - Brno
We’ll leave Munich early and cross into the CZECH REPUBLIC. We’ll visit CESKY KRUMLOV, a medieval jewel in Southern Bohemia, famous for its castle overlooking the Vltava River and its picturesque old town with cobblestone streets. The city, declared a World Heritage Site, offers a fairytale atmosphere and unforgettable views. Free time to stroll. After lunchtime we travel to TELC, another medieval jewel and World Heritage Site, with a well-preserved historic center featuring a triangular main square surrounded by Renaissance and Baroque burgher houses and its Renaissance castle. We then continue to BRNO, the second-largest city in the Czech Republic, a vibrant cultural destination with a historic center full of Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture. The city is known for its youthful atmosphere, thriving food scene, and cozy cafés.
Day 6: Brno
Today we’ll explore the Moravia region in greater depth, visiting several sites near Brno. First, we’ll see the beautiful gardens of the LEDNICE Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site created by the Liechtenstein family. Afterwards, we’ll head to VALTICE, where we’ll include a visit to its imposing Baroque palace and enjoy a tasting of local wine from this region, renowned for its winemaking tradition. We then continue to MIKULOV, a small town with a very picturesque center and a large castle dominating the city. Free time for lunch and a stroll. We return to BRNO, arriving in the mid-afternoon.
Day 7: Brno - PUNKVA CAVES - Kutná Hora - Prague
We’ll depart for one of the most beautiful caves in the Czech Republic: the PUNKVA CAVES (admission included). From the Skalní Mlýn parking area, we’ll take a tourist train to the entrance of the caves. The visit is partly on foot and partly by boat along an underground river. The highlight is the impressive “Macocha Abyss,” a sinkhole 138 meters deep, opening into a magnificent cenote-like chasm. Afterwards, we continue to KUTNÁ HORA, located in Central Bohemia, a UNESCO World Heritage city thanks to its outstanding historical and architectural heritage. On arrival, we’ll stop at the “Sedlec Ossuary” (admission included), a chapel decorated with the bones of approximately 50,000 people. We’ll then have free time to stroll and have lunch in the city center. In the afternoon, we travel to PRAGUE, arriving in the mid-afternoon.
Day 8: Prague
In the morning, we’ll enjoy a panoramic tour with a local guide in this city, considered one of the most beautiful in Europe. Highlights include the Castle, the Town Hall Square, and the stunning Charles Bridge. After the tour, you will have free time to stroll through the bustling city center and enjoy lunch at your leisure.At 7:00 p.m., we’ll take an evening transfer to the historic center, where you’ll find numerous traditional breweries, as well as excellent dining options and a lively nightlife atmosphere.
Day 9: Prague
After breakfast, our journey will come to an end, leaving you with wonderful lasting memories.
